Red Pocket Palette: Artist's Toolkit
Pencil Crayons: Faber Castell (gifted) Watercolours: Beam Paints Handbook Sketchbooks: Speedball Art (sizes 3.5x5.5 & 5.5x5.5) ..... 6x8 Pochade Box (Guerilla Painter): Judson's Art Outfitters Acrylic Paint: Tri-Art (gifted) ..... Signature6 Watercolours: A.Gallo Colors (gifted) Travel Brush: Tintoretto Brushes (gifted) The Mini Sendak and Guerilla Painter are both fairly old and have taken quite a beating...I need sturdy things in my creative life. The Tri-Art acrylics have been a real gift as my husband has not seemed to react negatively to them as he has with my previous acrylics and, though I absolutely loved the vibrancy and ease of use of the A.Gallo watercolours and they smelled heavenly of rosemary (they use the oil in their formula), I had to pass them along once I completed my project (Ahead of Their Time) as the scent did bother my husband. I would still highly recommend them as they are gorgeous and lovely to use. The other natural watercolour that I love to use is Beam Paints, though I tend to use them in my studio as they do require a bit longer for activation and drying time so that can be an issue when I travel though the colours are stunning! Along with these items, my favourite travel waterbrush is the Pentel mini (it has a nice point for finer details, keeps it shape well over time and does not leak), my favourite packable travel brushes are the Princeton Neptune (I particularly like sizes 4 & 8) and favourite white pen is the Uni-Ball Signo. My specific pochade box is no longer available, though Judson's does still offer that size, but it is no longer as deep. Comments are closed.
