"Sometimes the little things in life mean the most." — Ellen Hopkins
I have had a set of 4x6 inch panels and oak frames for quite some time, but I wasn’t certain how I wanted to approach the imagery for them. Over time, I began paying closer attention to the small moments I was capturing in watercolour within my handmade 3.5x2.5 inch sketchbooks, little observations from daily life that naturally drew my attention. A green tea latte beside me while I study, a well-loved book, scattered craft supplies, simple, familiar things that bring comfort and joy. These small paintings have become a way of celebrating the quiet rituals and objects that make everyday life feel meaningful.
