Woman's Work::Tracy Van Buskirk
Here are some thoughts about my work: It’s taken me decades to fully develop my self-confidence. I finally learned it’s not about success, it’s about being comfortable with the trying. Now, in my mid-60’s, I jump in to anything and don’t sweat the outcome. The work that pays is what I do in the financial services industry. Early on, I got used to being the only woman in the room. I celebrate the fact that now we are ubiquitous. My other “work” pays me in joy: riding horses, running a non-profit, leading teenagers on high adventure and creating art.

I am so happy to share that LevellingUp has changed its name to reflect their core values...artists working together to support other artists. Mastrius, 'mastery' + 'us', is really about the knowledge that success comes from working together. It's perfect for me as I believe in the strength of collaboration which is why the focus of my work has become about women working together to left one another up.
