An Altered Book Video::Self Portrait

If you are wise, you will show yourself rather as a reservoir than as a canal. A canal spreads abroad water as it receives it, but a reservoir waits until it is filled before overflowing, and thus without loss to itself shares its super abundant water.

Throughout the years I've received wonderful artwork as gifts, pieces that were very personal to me and so I decided to incorporate them - along with a favorite quote - into an altered book, in turn creating my self portrait.
