I'm thrilled to share that this diptych has been selected to be part of the new Art in Transit Shelters program in Airdrie. To me the image represents this region with a combination of the Rockies in the distance, the prairies and foothills that surround us along with the history of the bison that filled this area once upon a time. The wood lily is also a prominent wildflower and the ravens and crows that are prevalent in the region connect the present and the past. This pair of paintings was such a pleasure to create and I'm so grateful that after it found its forever home, it is now going to be shared with my community.
