 Beginning a career as a visual artist can be difficult as it isn't a typical career choice. An artist's life is a vulnerable one, filled with so many variables. id be very excited to win this book, I am a self taught artist and was selling, but due to injury and illness and injury I've had a 5-7 yr break, and am hoping to start again soon. I had surgery just over a yr ago to rehab my shoulder, and am doing better with my health. 1/19/2015 03:27:20 am
Hi Lesli...I feel for you. A few years ago I developed severe frozen should which required many months of physiotherapy, massage therapy and medical attention and is almost healed now after three years. Thank goodness my husband and children were such a help to me so I could continue to paint through the debilitating pain - I was also fortunate that it was my left shoulder that was affected and not my right painting shoulder.
