I am so grateful to AyrSpace Gallery in Ontario, Bluerock Gallery in Black Diamond, Daffodil Gallery in Edmonton, Effusion Gallery in Invermere, Inglewood Fine Arts in Calgary and Just Imajan Gallery in Cochrane for their support of my work. In a very short time already this year so many paintings have found new homes and I feel abundantly blessed.
I'm often pleasantly surprised to see which paintings have flown and I often wish I could find out why a particular piece was selected, especially in the case of the Totem Animals. Is it the animal itself, the story behind it, the colour palette or patterns that draw someone? This or a combination of all? Almost half of them have already found their new owners and I hope that they can be as much of a blessing to them as they have been to me.

Hi Veronica, So happy to see that your artwork is receiving the love and appreciation it deserves. Perhaps you could create a short form that your galleries could send along with the new owner so they could answer your questions if they choose? I am just starting on my art path, but when I do start offering my art to the world, I think that I would like to have answers to those questions myself. :) On a technical note, after seeing your wonderful work on the utility (?) box. I bought a new mailbox that is metal-black enamel coated. Could I use acrylics on it as is, do I need to sand it lightly first, and do I need to varnish it? If you have any suggestions, I'd appreciate them. Blessings to you 5/1/2015 12:11:42 am
Hi Mary...you may want to talk to your local hardware store as I had to get the utility box sanded and primed with metal primer and then used paint and varnish made specifically for metal. I feel blessed with my galleries as they do share information about the work with their patrons, whether as a statement, link or book.
