What's Next?

I've been giving a lot of thought as to the direction I want to head as an artist, especially now with what has been going on in our world. I'm leaning towards simplifying what I do and how I do it, though at this point I'm still unsure of what exactly that means. Today it means that I will complete these last few large canvases I have and then focus on smaller works from here on, which it seems the direction that my work has been heading. I may have a sale on the large pieces so that I can direct my full attention on these larger bodies of work using smaller substrates. It may be the uncertainty of the world today that has me feeling this way, but I have found that this has been the organic direction my creative life has been taking in any case. Who knows...I may revisit this again as I do like working large, but there is so much I love about the smaller pieces. I'm thinking of having a large sale on the larger works and rather curious about what will happen with my work in the future.
